California Democrats Quietly Watering Down State Net Neutrality Bill

[tweet_dis2]California Democrats Quietly Watering Down State Net Neutrality Bill[/tweet_dis2]

California seemed poised to become the third state to pass legislation protecting net neutrality, however, some Democrats in committee are changing the language in an attempt to water it down at the behest of lobbying firms that represent anti-net neutrality ISPS like Verizon and AT&T.

Here's a good deal, keep net neutrality, ban all guns, get universal health care for fuck's sake, and become fucking South Canada and give up.

Democrats are rats too. If anything, more so. Are you hearing anything about NN from the douchebag Late Night hosts? Nada. 1 or 2 segments sometime ago & now nothing. They are back to Trump bashing & stupid jokes. Paid leftist scums these hosts.

@The Humanist Report do u think we are protected right now from being charged by verizon? or do u think like u said in the previous video i watch that they can charge us now?

  10. I think issues should be viewed individually rather than siding with one party. Corruption is abundant nowadays which is why I remain independent. I think calling Rupublican senators about this issue would be more helpful than to blindly give the majority to the other side of the pendulum.

Technically the FCC are traitors to the united states because everyone wants them to not mess with net neutrality but. They are clearly trying to mess with it

I just got word from Fight For The Future that we need to support SB 822 in California for today and tomorrow. Here's the following that says:

"The California bill to restore net neutrality cleared a key hurdle last week, but lobbyists for telecom monopolies like AT&T and Comcast are stepping up their efforts to derail SB 822 during a key Judiciary Committee hearing TOMORROW.
We need everyone reading this to contact the committee members right now and tell them to support SB 822 and oppose attempts to water it down."

We have to call 916-823-9612 in order to tell the commitees to support SB 822 and to back off attempts to derail it off! Go team!

SB 822 has passed and survived the watering down part I saw

repeal takes affect tomorrow, but keep fighting, it's not over yet, also at and t already started doing there throttling because there's been changes to my WiFi, now it's slower and it never was until now.

  19. Hector Garcia 3 months ago

if we can't have an open free internet, let's vote them out, keep putting pressure on them, also lets all stop paying these broadband companies and make them go bankrupt and shut down, spread the word worldwide, we will see how all this goes down, nothing last forever, and it will come back, just stop giving out money to the point where they struggle, they might change their minds, but if they do, don't believe them, get them shut down, I'm currently finding another way around my own free internet.

  25. CutDaShitBitch 3 months ago

People are crybabies. Go outside and make actual friends. Support your local supermarket. Go outside and plant a tree and help the environment. Get a damn job. Help your economy. America is in debt and all we care about is the internet! Lol. The internet is a good thing but its also a bad thing because just as many good ideas are shared there are bad ones also. We've gone backwards as a society.

America is the land of the free and the home of the brave

If it's really the land of the free, we would have our internet!
But we are the home of the brave, so even if it does happen, we will be strong and brave!

You mean the same California Democrats who are too inept to clean up the feces and heroin needles in San Francisco? Well no shit, they did something else retarded.

  30. Matt 3 months ago

Could we just stop our internet plans as a threat to the ISPs? 🙂 I think it would work.

  31. Tenshi Chan 3 months ago

soooo, when a corporations profit margin might be hurt, on a microscopic level, STOP THE PRESSES!! GIVE THEM ALL THE TAX PAYER DOLLARS THEY WANT!! OH GOD, WE HAVE TO SAVE THEM!!!
But when American citizens are starving to death, dying in the streets and without basic medical care.. fuck them!! they should have used bootstraps (to hang themselves)!!

  32. Ninian Fan 3 months ago

Thank goodness my state is reasonable (sometimes). I hope people realize that internet should be open and free as long it isnt illegal activity or infringing on people's rights.

  33. Russ Wilson 3 months ago

Who are these democrats? Did I miss the part where they were named?
