Isn't the fracking and rape pillage attitude a status quo situation.. that was as well from Obama and Hillary.. as for them selling it all to Russia.. as they both did with the uranium.. but that Obama told them that their bid was too low and to enter another bid.. so that he would get his cut… just another day in the political pit of vipers to most of any one looking in their window.

This is no longer a comedy show because it's not very funny anymore how badly we are getting fucked. I watch the comedy shows to get the factual news. It's really sad where we have gone.

Kickbacks for all! Our millionaire "representatives" are shamelessly selling our future. They would rather murder brown people and destroy the planet than work on health and safety for US citizens.

The actual military budget is 686 billion. I wouldn't consider DHS and many other federal agencies part of the the military. US GDP this year is foretasted to reach 20412 billion, and the federal budget 4407 billion. Personally, if I ran things the federal budget would be cut to 15% GDP to 3062 billion with the military being slashed to 3% GDP to 612 billion. With the current budget deficit being in the neighborhood of 800 to 1000 billion, my budget would save 1345 billion, eliminate the deficit, and start to pay down the debt. It would piss most people off, but at least I would not be screwing future generations. By the way, interest ALONE on the federal debt will be 363 billion. Imagine if we had actually been fiscally responsible for the past 18 years.

Trump’s Space Farce is coming true. Someone leaked information about his plans to build a Space Force without congressional authorization. I think it was intentional and to gauge public opinion . Sorry about the Fox News link.

It goes without saying that the U.S., the only Nation with freedom of speech enshrined in its constitution , must also have the world's most powerful military. Even most other NATO allies don't have an equivalency to the First Amendment and some are verging on being banana republics. Therefore, however unlikely it may be, if the other most powerful military nations ever re-align themselves against the U.S. then we will be in trouble. Due to the neglect of America's armed forces over the last decade we must revamp outdated missile technology and satellites. Most of the new budget isn't for expansion but modernization.

We just a huge tax cut. How can we afford this other than bankrupting all the programs that actually help people?

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." – Dwight Eisenhower, 1953.

#Resist my a$$. Barbara Lee is also the only Congressperson to vote against both the Iraq War and the AUMF authorizing the original "War on Terror" after 9/11 (even Bernie voted for the latter). She's a rare voice for peace in the Congress.

This is total BS. They shouldn't get another dime for new killing machines until every American is housed. Our security requires more than the bombing of our imaginary enemies. People right here in America need affordable housing as their FIRST priority. Since only 24 Americans were killed by terrorists on our soil between 2005 – 20015 – that's 2.4 of us per year, the feds need to get real about what is important to we-the-people.

In comparison "According to the Coalition on Homelessness, the rate of the homeless among those who die is 1,529 per 100,000. Yielding a total of just over 37,000 per year (this method would show an average of 37,001.8 per year, and obviously by this method you're not going to get an exact count, but a close approximation)." So, in the same period of time we could calculate that 370,000 Americans died of homelessness while 24 died from terrorism. Our government needs to get its head out of its ass, or, we can just stop paying it for stupid stuff we don't need and instead buy stuff that keeps more of us alive – that's the reality of OUR security needs.

We decried the Afghans for destroying ancient monuments created by lost civilizations, yet we applaud destroying nature created long before man in the name of greed and the almighty petrodollar. I weep for our future.
